‘Women and a girl’ 1973

€ 500 – 1.000
Two women and a girl, with feelings of sadness and obviously bony, stand in front of a door without any sign that they are waiting for anything but giving the impression that they are the only inhabitants of the house. Their similarities with Byzantine icons turn them into sad Virgins, while, at the same time, matching the Divine Drama with the tragic period of modern Greek history (World War II, civil war, dictatorship).
