A very sweet poetic depiction of customary action and recognizable unorthodox convening of various mixed objects, quite common to Vassiliou’s targets, that bring about the expected appreciation of the everyday. Showered in light against the backdrop of the sky and the sand, architectural fragments symbols of Greekness and memory are practically memorabilia of the nexus between tradition and everyday life. The light dilutes the color giving it a brightness and intensity which combined with the openings in the distance give out a sense of immediate romantic infinity.
