A series of amazing quality small etchings intended for the illustration of the book ‘Margot la Ravaudeuse’ with erotic scenes in the 18th century style are presented into a frame. Hard line and clean design narrative and cartoonish atmosphere dominate. They all move in the familiar style of Galanis’ engravings with nude female figures but also for book illustrations he generally made with the detailed narrative mood and the dedication to the performance. The above work of 14 dry-etchings is highly collectible because, as is known, only TWO series were created, the present one here which is created in sepia and another one in black ink.
