Α story in three acts 1968
Signed oil on canvas 98×55 cm
€ 4.000 – 6.000
A tender and timeless piece of art by the multitalented creator Gaitis; the handling of identifiable forms preoccupied him greatly, resulting in the creation of many different works, such as this one here. The painting is organized in three parallel zones, delineated by strong color variations in yellow, blue, and red backgrounds which contrast sharply with and emphasize the black and white figures. Recognizable symbols are utilized to convey irony and social criticism reducing the human narratives of existential loneliness while also pointing out the massification of modern society.
