The artist masterfully captures an adventure of vulnerable matter, episodes thereof with difficult endings, palimpsestic deposits and violent stops.” The artwork traces the primordial essence and serves as an elegy of destruction with earthy, soft tones. Few gradations are present on its surface, which functions as a self-lighted. Light seems to come from the crevices and gaps, or emanate from injuries and distress, reminding us of what Elias Canetti once said: “the wound cannot be healed, we just learn to breathe through it”.
