AUCTION ANNOUNCEMENT

The 36 th “Greek Sale”
by HELLENIC AUCTIONS

Once again we will be having our next “meeting” on our computer screens, but this will not

affect the importance of our successful art selection and the competitiveness of our most
realistic reserve prices that we have been offering to you for well over 20 years.
As you will see, the majority of the fine works in our catalogue that we painstakingly
selected are scarce and getting harder to find – some of them of museum importance – with
the additional benefit of the most realistic reserve prices around, a policy we implement
from the first day we were born as a company.

You can claim the paintings that you will select either by emailing or faxing your written
offers to us, or by telephone participation in paintings of higher value or with the typical
now process of successive bids through the privacy of your computer screen from the
comfort of the sofa.

CLICK HERE to preview the auction through our Virtual Tour!

Generally speaking, the process remains simple and is done either by selecting and filling-in
the special ‘Bidding Form’ found below this page or which you can download from our site
(TOOLKIT – Downloads) scan and email to us (info@hellenicauctions.com) OR send by fax
(+30 2310-227799). Most buyers find that the easiest way to submit offers is through the
pages of our online catalogue (www.hellenicauctions.com) (please NOT through the pdf
catalogue). You can simply place your highest bid through the ‘BID NOW’ button found next
to each lot. The same process applies (download – fill-in scan and submit) for the telephone
participation requests.

Please note that the process leading to the telephone service must be completed by the
evening of the day PRIOR to the auction and is only available for higher-value lots.
Or, if you like, you can participate and/or watch the auction live through the platform
of www.invaluable.com, HERE.
For those of you having difficulty with the electronics or for any inquiry please feel free to
call or email us. We will be happy to assist.

Viewing will be available in our premises (A.Svolou 5, Thessaloniki 54622) on Friday 26th and
Saturday 27th of May between the hours of 11.00 to 19.00 Greek time. Kindly try an
appointment first.

The artworks to be auctioned are offered “as are”, with the exception of non-authenticity, for which see the Conditions of Sale the unconditional acceptance of which is a prerequisite for participation in the auction.

Interested buyers are kindly requested to inspect the paintings in person before committing themselves into buying. Condition report or physical inspection access to any work is provided prior to sale.

(Purchases must be paid in full within 7 days of the date of the auction)

Those interested in bidding by phone, must apply for such arrangement at least 24 hours before the start of the auction so that the necessary communication facility can be ensured.

(Please note that the telephone bidding facility is only available for items of a minimum value of 1000 euros)

Well done hellenic auctions of thessaloniki!

Many good paintings and plenty bargains in the sale. The auction has included several pieces worth a good sum of money as “with no reserve”.
