The defender of the Individual

• Taught among others by Pathenis.
• Was a founding member of the art group “Akraion”, with Kondopoulous. This group stood out because of its focus on abstract art.
• This Greek painter, carver and sculptor became known for his „little people“, figurines which he presented in 1967. These are human forms with nothing to distinguish them, which eventually multiplied into human landscapes. These were a protest against mass culture and the deindividuation of man.
